Embedding external RSS feed

I have a wordpress blog attached to my main site. I wish to display the latest x posts with their excerpt, on my main site and I thought embedding those posts via the RSS feed is more easier...prolly.

Anyone has any ideea how can i do that, or do you have a piece of code for this? 🙂

well if the wordpress is on your site why not just use the database?

but assuming you WANT to use rss you can use php's simplexml functions to load the XML into a string, count the number of containers, then step through in a FOR loop to the number you want and format the output
