Sending file download thru PHP script - IE says "connection reset"

Any particular reason this would happen? IE's the only browser that returns, "the connection with the server was reset". Other browsers download just fine. Other files downloaded through PHP with IE download just fine. The file is definitely where it should be on the server, IE just doesn't like it, I guess.

dont allow a non-standard browser to use your site???

its most likely how IE is interpreting the MIME encoding of the filetype... IE is a PITA when it comes to that stuff... what type of files are you pushing?
