How to copy or sync databases

Hello,

Did anyone already solve this task? How is this done best?

I have a webshop. The products are maintained in a local MSSQL database in the office of my customer. How do I move the products automatically from the MSSQL database to the webshop database (MySQL) at my webhoster? I’d like this to be done automatically with a script every day.

Hello,

I had the same problem. http://SyncTables.com was the solution. This SW can copy and sync tables in databases. It supports MySQL, Access and MSSQL. To connect to databases at a webhoster an http-tunnel can be used.

I also use it to download new orders to my local database as it can synchronise tables. In this case it only downloads changed records determined by a last-modified-column.
