[RESOLVED] Get HTTP File name request

I'm try to find a way of getting the file name of a img request from another site to mine.

so if for example, someone posted a link to a picture on this forum, when the pic was requested, my script would be able to extract the filename from the request.

example: http://www.mydomain.com/picture.jpg

when the image is serverd to the user I have a script running, that needs to find out they requested 'picture' or picture.jpg and store it in a database.

so $filename='$picture';

can this be done?

in affect, if this website fetches a image from my website, I want to be able to capture the full URL this website was requesting.

so my script would capture http://www.phpbuilder.com & the fact it wanted to fetch http://www.mydomain.com/picture.jpg

so I end up with the picture name, and the website that requested it [phpbuilder.com]

wen form was post from other site u can get all file variable as print_r($_FILES)

u can use this only for one site which u know that request come from

n wen image is fetch from ur side u can get url using $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']

I just don't get this, can you explain a little more ?

When the IMG is requested, I correctly get the domain name from that server that requested the IMG, but I'm at a loss as to how to get the the rest.

What I need to get is, if phpbuilder.com requested an image from my site, like this...
http://www.mydomain.com/img/image.jpg

I need to get the /img/image.jpg in to a VAR I can use

Also, when I look at my raw-log-file I can see "[ip address, date/time] GET /img/image.jpg ... etc etc", so it must be possible right 😕

I just need to get the /img/image.jpg from that request as it comes in to the script
