Strange RSS XML Parsing Behaviour

I'm hoping someone can help me with this.

I'm trying to convert an atom rss feed (http://muskokarunning.blogspot.com/atom.xml) to HTML using PHP. I've used several pre-made solutions, and written 2 of my own in an attempt to make it work. I'm more of a flash coder, and I can get it working fine with AS3, but for some reason everything I have tried with php ignores the first 3 posts? Can anyone see anything wrong with my code or the xml feed?

Yeah your call to blogparse() is inside of the function. It never gets called. particularly because it comes right after a return. However, if this is all the code then it never even hets called at all.

Since your code is pretty portable, I popped it in my web server, pulled echo(blogparse('http://muskokarunning.blogspot.com/atom.xml')); out of the function it was meant to call and it seems to be working just fine.

Yeah sorry, I just made that code error when copying it into the post. I had it set up right when testing, but I cut out a bunch of comments and garbage code so I guess I got a bit mixed up.

It seems to work fine, but If you have a closer look, the first post probably reads... and this is the point where I check again and half think i'm going crazy....

I swear i played with it for hours on end the other night, and it kept starting with the post 'still going', which makes no sense, but now of course its working for me here too.

Ha, I hate when that happens (the crazy part.) I suppose that google might cache rss feeds. However, these are certainly not new posts (March.) Glad it works for you now.
