Help with posting XML data

Hope you can help

I have an XML file which contains data. I need to post the XML data file to a PHP page but I am not quite sure the best way to do this.

Can anyone suggest the best way please?

I assume I would post the contents of the XML file to the PHP page. Would this be fastest way.

So you are posting xml to the php page? A remote php page (do you own the source?) Is your xml posted from a text area in a form? Are you making a SOAP call? Please be as specific (yet brief) as you can.

I guess I was asking the best method.

We have a string of XML data which I need to post to a page external to our website. We are posting order details to a carrier company so they can arrange delivery.

The XML file will contain order details and a PDF invoice encoded with uuencode. Would this XML file or data be too big?
