i want to display the 5 latest article, and also need to display that instantly,

i know using ajax and php , we can do,

but i dont know where i have call the ajax function,

That is rather vague, I must say. How are these articles stored? How would you "display the 5 latest article" without AJAX techniques coming into play (i.e., first concentrate on getting them to display).
