Copy folder problem...

Hi there,

I am having a problem copying a folder and its sub folders. When I try the script on my computer it works fine, but when I upload it to my website it only creates a new folder, it does not copy the files. I was thinking it might be something to do with permissions so added chmod settings but that does not work either.

Here is the code:

gud to give permission using chmod
but chk at folder view using ftp or watever

is it set to 777?

if it not then it cant let u to write nythng into it.

n if u create folder using mkdir then use mkdir("dir",0666)

Hi dev,

Thanks for looking at my problem, I had a look at the new folder and the good news is that yes it is set to 777, however it still does not copy any of the files or folders. I have been looking around the interweb for any other solutions and found a lot to do with safe mode, so I managed to check and found out that safe mode is on, so am wondering if this has something to do with it?

Hi Dev,

Thanks again for all your help, I tried your code and still have the same problem, I think the problem must be something to do with the way the site is set up, so I'm going to talk to my ISP and see what they can do.
