Let's say I am visiting the Newbies sub forum (within PHP Help forum section).
And after I am done browsing, I want to jump into another sub forum within PHP Help. Currently, I find that I have to click on either 'PHPBuilder.com' or 'PHP Help' link at the top, then select another sub forum (or hit the backspace key until I get back to this point).
I mean no offense to Jupiter Online Media, nor vBulletin or anyone else for that matter when I say that the navigation in this regard is terrible. I made a screenshot mockup to demonstrate an easier way to jump within sub forums with just one click.
The left-hand side is what is current.. the right hand side is presenting a way to be able to quickly jump within the PHP Help sub forums (as an example) without the need to 'back out one navigation level' prior to selecting a new sub-forum. Simply clicking on a new link within this mini-navigation list saves an additional click.
Either I am missing something here, or I am simply yearning for something a little more streamlined when dealing with sub-forum navigational functionality. Am I correct in this thinking? Or again, am I missing something?
Cheers,
NRG
