$_COOKIE Not working

Hi

I am new to PHP and I'm having some trouble with cookies. I can't get $_COOKIE working. I can set the cookie fine just not read it back. Does anyone have any idea why this would be? below is the basic test code I'm using.

setcookie("test", "testvalue", (60 * 60 * 24 * 60 + time()));
		echo "Cookie Value is " . $_COOKIE['test'];

Read the PHP manual entry on [man]setcookie/man and you will find that "once the cookies have been set, they can be accessed on the next page load with the $_COOKIE or $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS arrays" (emphasis mine).
