HTTPS - Random broken pictures

On our website, when it switches to HTTPS, some images are broken... but it is at random. The next page load, the broken images are just fine... but others that were fine are now broken.

Any idea how this happens?

Everything works fine on FireFox, this is only on IE. I am using IE6.0 on WinXP. Perhaps it is just my browser settings causing this issue?

add any product to your shopping cart, click on the checkout cart, then click the checkout button, then click "Checkout without account". That should be the first secure page.

Any help would be great! This issue is driving me crazy.

It happens when you have a mix of secure and non secure elements on a page, all the files on a page images,css,js etc should be on either one or the other (http or https)

All elements on the page are secure. Also, some elements load sometimes and dont others... I would think if it were a broken link, or unsecure element, it would not load every time.

I believe it is a setting on my browser. I have tested it on two computers, both behave the same... but both might be setup exactly the same.

The images should display regardless of HTTP or HTTPS. The only real change, from my experience, is the certificate loses validation since some content is sent unsecure.

You may want to check that you have all of the aliases in your secure conf that you do in your unsecure conf.

I don't have any issues with images not showing using IE6Eolas, but I cannot get an item to go into the cart. Using Firefox 3 and IE7, I don't have any issues at all.
