additional extentions

Hello all; quick question for the masses

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php

the above line is of course on the Apache httpd.conf page.

My question is how does one add a new extention to the line?
is it:
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml .html

etc or is there commas separating them?

Also does .html really have to be added to the above line in order to display it?

Just spaces (or tabs) between the suffixes is all you need.

Yes, thats how it's added. With spaces. You dont have to add .html or .htm because they are autotically parsed by apache(they are already added to mime). If you want PHP to parse also .html files, then you would add that extension to that line but theres no need for it as then PHP would be used to parse static html pages(and consume more memory and cpu).
