my simple script refused to installed

last week I made small funny article script

it worked in apache very good without errors.

but when I uploaded it in my hosting server it gave me error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '{' in /hsphere/local/home/vivid200/albahala.org/bhl/index.php on line 19

and refused to install.

I am sure there is no error in my codes. It works in my apache very smoothly.

also I uploaded it in a free hosting website.
and install.php worked nicely but refused to register me as member.

it gave me this error in registration form (You missed to fill some fields.).

also in Globat Server gave me blank page without error msg.

It's very, very difficult to debug invisible source code. Undoubtedly it's a difference in system configurations, and for now I'll put a small bet on the code depending on short_open_tag being turned on, but it isn't on host where it's not working.

Well, like I implied above: it is impossible to debug code without the code. If it's the problem I'm guessing at, try making sure you use a full "<?php" or "<?php echo" instead of "<?" or "<?=" throughout your code. (The latter two only work if the short_open_tag PHP configuration option is turned on.) If that's not the issue, then you'll need to post the code here so that we can help debug it. Probably the first 20 lines are sufficient if there's a lot of code, since the error is on line 19.

I am using the full "<?php"

plz check attachments

if you need to check it in apache you have to change classes/BHL_DB.php file

also beware, install.php is deleted automatically when installation finish so take a copy from it.

I removed images folder bzc attachments is so narrow

What version of PHP is running on the host where the error is occurring? If it is not at least 5.0, then that is probably the problem, since try{...}catch{...} is a PHP5 feature.

use the error reporting on that server:

error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set("display_errors", 1);

and post the source code as well.

localhost servers allow more than a online servers...
