simple calculation

hi..i'm now doing some system with dreamweaver and use php coding. The database i'm use sqlyog...i'm still beginner with php...i need help with simple calculation such as average,max,min and percentage...can anybody show me the coding...please....😕

I take it you're wanting to query a table and find the max min and average of the table values? If so then you can do all of that with SQL?
Example
Select MAX(column_in_table) As [Max Value] From Table

yes i want to create the query of the table...so i can count it...but i don't know how to create it....besides that, i want to know whether all mysql and sqlyog has the same way of process? For your information, all data that want calculate has a month of data which is key in the data everyday...can you help me.....

You could make queries like in mysql.

in the program, if you select the table, lets write the sql you want:

you have to use GROUP BY

for example:

SELECT weeek , SUM(quantity) AS sum FROM sums GROUP BY weeek;
