I have a script that generates a large CSV report for my website members. The problem with this script is that, depending on the size of the report, it may take several minutes to complete report generation. I was looking for some recommendations of a neat way to handle the waiting process, as well as handling the delivery of the CSV (I'm guessing a download link with some instructions on how to view it).
I know I could accomplish this using AJAX, but I've run across several examples out there and was looking for someone who is currently doing this that could give me some pointers. Your insight on this is very much appreciated! Thanks!
