Im hoping somebody can help, ive struggled for hours on this. I need to write a function that will calculate the number of working time that has passed between two dates.
For example: user A presses button 2008/11/5 08:00 and presses the button again at 2008/11/7 08:00. This should then tell me the user has taken two working days.
The problem stems from the working hours themselves. The system must make sure that if for example the button was pressed for the second time on a friday after 5pm, it adds one to the working days as people wont actually see that he has pressed it until Monday.
It also needs to take away weekends and holidays. I managed to build a quick routine to work out the number of days between two times but the working hours have caused me problems.
