get text and browse it?

I want get the texts of phpinfo(), and browse it in table.

Like this.

<table>
<tr>
<td>
<?
$text = phpinfo();
echo($text);
?>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

I can see phpinfo's texts.
But, there are large blank spaces.

How can remove this white spaces?

it comes already formatted, if you want to remove the formatting you with have to run some regX on it. If you bothered to look at the manual page, you will see user notes on this.
