Getting Field to Display just once

Hi,

I want to display info from a table like this

Product 1
SubProduct 1 SubProduct 2 SubProduct 3 SubProduct 4 etc

Product 2
SubProduct 1 SubProduct 2 SubProduct 3 SubProduct 4 etc

I can get the into to come back fine. The problem is with my Product Name it keeps repeating on me like this

Products 1 SubProduct 1
Products 1 SubProduct 2
Products 1 SubProduct 3
Products 1 SubProduct 4

Products 2 SubProduct 1
Products 2 SubProduct 2
Products 2 SubProduct 3
Products 2 SubProduct 4

Can anyone show me what I need to do to get the information the way I want it? I just want the Product Name to display once

what exactly is your underlying data structure? are the products and subproducts in 2 separate tables with a related key field?

This is the code I am using

$result = mysql_query("SELECT Distinct SubProduct, Product FROM Table Order by PRODUCT");
while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result))
{

echo " " .$row['Product']. "<br>";
echo " " .$row['SubProduct']. " - ";
}

I just want the Product to display once instead of repeating each time before a SubProduct. Its probably some if statement but ive been trying for hours but cant figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated
