Waaay Basic? Need a push in the right direction.

Hello,

Two simple things I want to work on as a project but I dont know where to start exactly. My host allows php, so all that is okay.

I am specifically wondering about:

One, I would like to build a page that has an image that I can change daily by logging in from a panel, browsing and uploading. And two, a cv/resume that I can update myself via a similar system?

Can anyone point me to some basic code that I can experiment with?

Help would be very much appreciated, I know basic html, flash and some java.

here is a daily image example:

in the added.php lets see the password, at the $_POST["password"]=="" part...
And here is the source:

it uploads the selected picture, and pu into database.
On index.php it select the newest entry, and make an img html code.

an online CV... easy. the simpliest way is, if you "set up" an online html editor,
and create that as restricted, with a password.
