Displaying an image in a page?

Hi, thanks to the help I actually now have images uploading. Now, how do I display the image in another page? I created a page, I just need a script that will call the newest uploaded image to be displayed. Any advice would be really helpful for this newbie.

Ps/ so the images go into a folder called images, but they are given a long number name, which is okay, but I just dont know how to call the most recent one.

method is like this:

when you upload a file, you save into the server, and save into a database when you upload it.

Then on other pages, you select those images, with a mysql ORDER BY method.

Here is an example:

In index.php change that line:
$result=mysql_query($query);
into
$result=mysql_query($query." ORDER BY file_uploaded_time DESC");

here is an example, how to list that image folder, and sort to get the newest image name.

Okay, trying here, but it seems I am missing something. I think I have installed my DB fine, since it is uploading images, but I get this on the page when I load the page.

"; print_r($file); print ""; $newest_file= $dir."/".current($file); ?>

I know this must be so elementary for you all so I appreciate the help! Have to start somewhere I guess.
