[RESOLVED] Embedding PHP in Javascript?

Not sure if this is possible, but I'm using a gallery script here :

where if you click on the image to enlarge, you get that animated effect in the middle of the page.

However, I'm not sure how to pull through the product's make and model to show as the image title where it says 'Item'.

Is it somehow possible to pull that through by embedding the PHP in the JS at all?

Or indeed, by any means?

Hope that makes sense, and someone can point me in the right direction.

PHP doesn't care what it's embedded in. All the parser is looking for when it starts reading a file is the "<?php" and until it sees one it just passes on what it reads unchanged.

That was as much as I'd tried, and it didn't like it.

The line in the JS looks like :

[code[var tt,im,nt='Item';[/code]

Which I've tried changing to :

var tt,im,nt='"<?php echo $row_WADAphotoframes["Make"]; ?>&nbsp;<?php echo $row_WADAphotoframes["Model"]; ?>"';

But it doesn't like it :

Just to say I go this working, albeit with some help.

Saved the .js as a .php file, and added :

<script type="text/javascript"> at the top, and </script> at the bottom, and then in my details page changed then changed the link to the .js to an include link for the.php file.

That would have been enough, assuming that the PHP in the JavaScript file didn't rely on any PHP running in the page that includes it. If it did, it would be cleaner to have PHP set some JavaScript variables in the page and then include the .js file (without any PHP) that used those variables.
