need help to add a "preg_match_all"

Ok I suck at php (I am more a html/css guru) and I am trying to apply a "preg_match_all" to my "Content", I figured out most of the code but I still need help for the final syntax, so any suggestion would be much appreciated.

preg_match_all('#<a\s*rel="nofollow"\s*target="_blank"\s*href=".+"\s*>\s*<img\s*src=".+"\s*/>\s*</a>#Us', $row, $matches, PREG_SET_ORDER);

$query  = "SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY id DESC LIMIT $offset, $rowsPerPage";
$result = mysql_query($query) or die('Error, query failed');

// print the random numbers
while($row = mysql_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC))

You forgot to include the text your are matching against ... or I missed something.

Well, first you lost me :o

I just want to display everything from my table except some html tags ( => preg_match_all to get rid of that). (It's not a search).

You could use [man]strip_tags[/man] with the optional parameter of which tags to allow. Be weary of XSS attacks.

I don't use strip_tags as I only want to keep the pictures & links from the content (they always have the same formating => see preg_match). The rest of the content can be anything, html tags, text... (btw this is for a small admin panel)

I did an exemple but I can't figure out how to apply that to my query
