[RESOLVED] Counting Random Results?

I have to get 3 random results to populate a 3 column table, so far I can only get one random result, I have tried to make more $title2 like that but it will just pull the same one, I think there is a math thing I'm missing here, I also have to count the times these blurbs appear...need guides please , so far I just keep ending up with endless loops that make the page time out....
here is my code so far:

I think you've over complicated that a little... take a look at this

I did get this error
Undefined index: id in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\NewBeginnings\jobsOutput.php on line 21

Have to start looking that up...any ideas?

Hmm upon checking my table I discovered that, data is now in the wrong fields, what can cause that? Maybe this is a whole new post and problem....

well, I was making an assumption that your tables structure had the columns "id" and "views". you'll have to edit that line, changing the id to whatever id/key you're using for that table, or provide more information

Actually I do have "id" in the table its the primary key (thats right correct?) and I changed the code you gave me since I had named the column in the table xcount (for exposure count) what could make the data go into the wrong columns though, is there one thing to look for..this is my code for the form to submit the ads:

Lets check the orders:

the field and variables order was wrong..

ouch thanks, I didn't know the order mattered like that, I was just assuming that it "reads" the data field and puts it in the right one...:eek: so much to learn....:eek:
