log in question

In my website i have allready made diffrent user groups and deny folders from annonymous users, but now i am trying to make it so that if a annonymous user or a user who belongs to a wrong group trys to access the wrong folder they will be redirected back to the previous page.

How is this normally done in php? Is this somethink that i can do with making some changes in IIS options or sould i make php login script for those folders?

in IIS you can make a custom http error page but with 401.3 http error you cannot put a url to redirect to other page otherwise that would be the answer. Anyone know how to make it like that by editing some config files in IIS? or can i make a http error handler with php so if access is denyed then user would be redirected to previous page.Any ideas?

You could store each page they visit in a session variable, that way your variable will hold the last valid page they have gone to if they try to access an invalid folder.

When they try to access it just send them back to the url in the variable.
