[RESOLVED] Installing PEAR

Hello,

I just tried installing PEAR. I am running PHP 4 and CentOS4. I used yum to install PEAR. I updated the include path in the php.ini file. When I try to use PEAR, I get the errors listed below. Does anyone have any ideas why I am getting these errors?

You will need to edit the open_basedir setting in php.ini to include the PEAR directory (or optionally just disable it, depending on your needs) and then restart the web server.

Thanks NogDog. I finally figured it out, thanks to your help.

To give some background in case anyone else has problems. I am running CentOS 4 with Plesk 8. I used yum to install PEAR. I had to modify the php.ini and update the open_basedir. Since this was for a virtual host, I also had to create a vhost.conf file to specify the appropriate include_path.
