[RESOLVED] Holding amounts of money in MySql

ok,

i have an amout of money i need to store in my MySql database £78000.56

What should i be using to hold it. Float, Decimal or somthing else?

i want to be able to disply the data back using php in a table in this format £78,000.56

Im having problems with the last digit being cut off or it being rounded up, Can anyone one help me out ?

think i may have found a way round this. Set the type to deciaml then length 10,2
