Publishing and archiving articles to a website

I'm developing a website for a small political organization. Every day, one of the members of this organization will be writing an article that should be made avaliable in the main content div# on the website. Previous commentaries should be pushed down on the page to make room for the new ones, and the bottom ones which there would no longer be room for on the page, should be processed into an archive. The archives for each month should be avaliable on the right section of this site.

What is the best method of implementing such a system? The people writing the articles, who have no competence in webdesign, should preferably not have to edit the website directly.

You could just make a PHP form (to enter a title and the article content for example) that inserts the data into a database once processed. Then just pull the title and content from the database and style it how you like on the page you wish to display it. You could use pagination to display the results across a number of pages, or just set the query to only pull up a certain amount of results (5, for example) - then you could have an "archive" page that allows a user to search the database for a specific article in the database.

Very vague answer I guess, but that's how I'd do it. I can help more if you need any more information doing it that way.

you can use that as a form element.

With a drag And drop( or copy paste ) method
you can create pages.
