how to edit html on php website

I purchased a website written in php. I have registered the domain, now I need to learn how to edit the html through the cpanel.

The site uses google adsense links and has a ebook with a paypal payment point. This is all setup in the previous owners accounts.

I just want to change the paypal and the google adsense account to my account before I begin marketing the website.

Don't you have access to the FTP server?

The easiest way would be to download the relevant files from the FTP and edit the bits you need to change in something such as Notepad.

Cpanel has an icon named filemanager. Click on that then find the index.php page and click on that and edit away and save.
