Thanks to all.
Noggin is 10 years old now, which for a dog his size is equivalent to somewhere between 70 and 75 years old for a human. So physically he's 20 years my senior, but emotionally he's still my baby. This is the first (potentially) serious health problem he's had, so of course I'm fretting like any parent would. Unfortunately, the lump was in an area of his body that I don't normally take a close look at (nor want to), so I have no idea how long it's been forming, but yesterday he was licking and chewing at it so much that I had to see what the problem was, and...yuck!
Oh well, it helps me anyway to "share" with you all and not sit here worrying by myself.
