i have seen a website that contain online movie to watch them
its movies index page contain all movies description and a link to .html page to watch that movies
whenever any new movie added it will be add in the beginning and the old movies automatically goes down to it .....???😕
how it is possible to do like this......

I would guess that items are addes to a database, and then the list is created from a database query doing a descending sort (order by) on some timestamp column in the database table.

It could conceivably instead be done by getting all the contents of a directory and then sorting them based on file creation date, though that gets inefficient as the number of files increases.

Yeah it's more than likely just saved data in a database.

I do the exact same thing on my site.

The .html is not really an .html file just some mod rewrite (more than likely, it could be a statically built HTML file but why would you use up all that server space with .html files)
