"No rule to make target"

Now that I've finally managed to run the configure script, more troubles abound:

make: *** No rule to make target /home/arancaytar/files/installs/php/5.2.8/dist/php-5.2.8/ext/http/missing.c', needed byext/http/missing.lo'. Stop.

I've never looked at the inside of a Makefile before, so can someone tell me if this is a problem I can easily fix myself, or do I need to run the configure script with different parameters? All the requirements seem to be fulfilled, as the configure script showed.

What did you use for ./configure ? Did you get any errors, as that would be the most likely cause unless you ran something like this.

./configure
make install

As you need to make before make install.
