Hello...
I don't know much about php, except I've been using includes to organize my personal page. My friend and I are revamping our page and would like to include a page from the albums "inside" the index page, but when you click the link of the albums page, it leaves our "framed" page instead of opening inside of it. This is quite understandable, but I was wondering if there were any options to prevent this?
Is there anyway to say...include a different site (that's has your stuff...like the zenphoto script) in you're "framed" index page and then force all the links inside the include to open in our original "framed" index page?
For instance:
And index page at: www.insertnamehere.com
Which has an include to an album:
www.insertnamehere.com/zenphoto/index.php
Which has a link to an album:
(which is autocreated by the script)
to have that link to an album open in the index page at www.insertnamehere.com??
We can only think of using frames for to accomplish this...But we don't really want to...and our other option is to have all the links open in a pop-up window which may annoy our visitors...does anyone have any ideas as to what we could do?
Since I am such a novice in php, I was hoping there was another type of function or script that I could use that may not be as simple as just sticking the website in there using an include function that would get this accomplished.
For instance...while I can't change the auto-generated address...I can change the html/php around the address of the album "template"...is there a way to target back to main site where it would automatically change the include to the new address? Or generate its own little temporary page?
for instance: index.php page with a "page" that has an include of the "galleryindex" <? include ('http://www.insertnamehere.com/zenphoto/index.php ');?> which has a link in it adjusted by a template so that when the link it clicked it would generate a new "page" which would have show a the new include of "album" <? include ('http://www.insertnamehere.com/zenphoto/index.php?album=loveme ');?> in the ORIGINAL index.php.
So...essentially a way for the template of my album to target back to my main site and change the include from <? include ('http://www.insertnamehere.com/zenphoto/index.php ');?> to <? include ('http://www.insertnamehere.com/zenphoto/index.php?album=loveme ');?>
Sorry that was so long. As I don't have an actual webpage with code to show, I'm not even sure if these things are possible with php or even if it was it would "cycle" correctly to keep the website functioning. I did, however, think that it was worth asking and that it would have interesting uses if possible. Thank you for your time!
