prob with uploaded pdf being tiny when downloaded

Hi

i'm uploading a pdf to a dir on server - the upload goes fine, no error messages and i can see it in the target dir.

when i re-ftp it to my local machine it opens fine

but when i download it in my page using this link

it arrives as a tiny 102-byte file and won't open in acrobat reader

what do you think could be causing this ?

arg! me stupid !

it was a file path problem - instead of just telling me the file didn't exist at that location it managed to download a non-existant one that it couldn't open shakes head in disbelief

so there you go 🙂
