Result from MSSQL query returns less than expected

I feel like I've seen this already but a quick search didnt yield anything...

I am outputting data from a TEXT type column in a sql2005 db and the results are truncating... I am using strip tags on the output and this one particular article looks like its filled to the brim with MSO crap... others appear to output fully.

Is there a data result length limit when querying mssql?

dont strip tags, it doesent check for broken html, if you have unclosed tags from MSO it will remove a lot more than expected, you need something a lot smarter to clean the MSO crap.
