Thanks for the reply, this page was created by an ex-employee.
I noticed there is another dollar value below in the same text $50'000.00 showing correctly it had QUOTE]$[[/QUOTE] before the dollar value instead of a $.
I have copied that in front of the other two dollar values not showing correctly and it has fixed the $8'000.00 value but not the $100'000.00 value. Still stuck with the square instead of comma in the
too.

Rebates

The Australian Greenhouse Office's Solar Communities Rebate combined with new Renewable Energy Certificates can help reduce your system cost.

Solar Homes and Communities Program

To assist with the upfront costs of PV systems, the Australian government has a number of rebate programs. The Solar Homes and Communities rebate Program provides up to $8,000 in a one-off grant for up to a 1 kW system, provided that the taxable gross family income is not over $$100,000. The panels must face north, and be tilted to the optimal angle to trap the sun’s light. Only Australian-certified products can be used; and the system must be installed by a BCSE-Accredited installer. Paperwork includes pre-approval applications, after receiving a satisfactory quote from an installer, and an installation report, both of which have to be submitted to and okayed by the Department for the Environment, Heritage and the Arts under the SHCP. For more information on how to apply, contact the national information line on 1800 808 571. Or visit their website:
http://www.environment.gov.au/settlements/renewable/pv/.

The Solar Homes and Communities Plan also provides cash rebates for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems on community use buildings. See Solar Homes and Communities Web page for more information.

National Solar Schools Program

The National Solar Schools program offers grants of up to $50,000 (GST exclusive) to install solar and other renewable power systems, solar hot water systems, rainwater tanks and a range of energy efficiency measures. Please see the National Solar Schools Program Guidelines for the full list of eligible items. Schools can apply for grants under the National Solar Schools Program from July 2008 to June 2015.
