[RESOLVED] Autoreponder: Opens and Bounces?

Hey Guys,

My autoresponder script tracks how many subscriptions are made, how many newsletters are send out, and how many unsubscribes.

There are 2 things missing that I'm not sure how to code:

1) Tracking how many subscribers open the newsletter. How would I track that? Is it possible to have the top of the newsletter connect to my autoresponder and update the count?

2) Tracking how many bounces there are. How would I go about checking if the email address is valid and then delete it if it isn't?

you cant really check an email is valid just remove it after after a couple of bounces.

First, thanks for the link! It looks like this will solve my problem.

Second, I don't know how to track bounces. Any idea where I find info on this?

set a return address, pipe that address to script, process the mail

I'm a bit of a newbie, so I don't know what that means.

Is there a tutorial you know that would teach me what I need to know?
