Hi, there. I'm sort of new to this so please give me a break if this is an incredibly dumb question:

In DW8 I've figured out how to stop it from re-putting all the image files on a page each time I do a save ... except for the FLV (Flash) files. No matter how I set the Preferences re: put options and dependent files, the program insists on putting ALL of the FLV files embedded on the page -- about 100MB each time. Here's a copy of the Background File Activity dialog box:

Then it gets to the FLV files where it refuses to see them as the same and insists on transferring (putting) them.

I could sure use some help on this if you have a sec.

Figured it out. The solution is to put absolute URLs for the files. This takes media upload away from Dreamweaver's control.
