"Ajax Error: Status = -1 : transaction aborted"
I get that in my firebug console sometimes. Basically, I use quick-reply to reply to a thread and I submit the form, then it just sits there. The page isn't updated, nothing changes. So I cut all the text from that quick reply and refresh the page. Magically my post shows up.
Not sure if this is a vB bug or not, but thought I'd let you know.
In the last day or so, I have a similar problem (but in my case, its when I preview a message, then make modifications.. then try to submit it, it hangs)..so like you, I have to select the text and copy it.. but refreshing doesn't do it.. I have to close my browser (Opera 9.62) and reopen it, go back to the thread in question, and paste my text into a fresh response and submit it that way... Not sure why it's like that thought... as I didn't have this problem before..
Just means the server was bogged down. Afraid all we can do is check the load and see what we can block.
