I'm trying to find a source for all U.S. State Sales Tax rates down to the municipality, including the county and state rates. I know most Department of Revenue websites have the data in multiple formats. But I was wondering if anyone knows of a company or website that provides this data for all states at a reasonable rate? Free is better and $100 per state is too much for this project I'm working on. It also appears that not all states have the data in the same format, so it would be a lot of up-keep when updates are required.
Anyone have experience with working with collecting sales tax in many states?
