[RESOLVED] Regex Unicode

This took me a while to dig through some old posts but found an old one where NogDog posted a solution for me:

\w\xC0-\xD6\xD8-\xF6\xF8-\xFF

is regex for most international characters. I am finding for some reason it leaves out others such as ć.

I had later added \pL to the tag which made no difference for this letter. Isn't \x supposed to related to hex? All the hex conversions I find are like x107 and such when wanting to add in these other letters.

went through my character map and switched out the prior regex with this:

\w\\pL\u00C0-\u00FF\u0100-\u0259\u0386\u0388-\u04E9\u05D0-\u06D3\u1E80-\u200F

so the whole thing became this:

/^[\w\\pL\u00C0-\u00FF\u0100-\u0259\u0386\u0388-\u04E9\u05D0-\u06D3\u1E80-\u200F\'’. -]{2,255}$/
