Echo External Link

Hi guys!

I have searched and I cannot make this work.

I am trying to echo a external link from my MySQL database using:

<a href="<?php echo ($row_Recordset1['site_url']); ?>">Test Site</a>

In this example $row_Recordset1['site_url'] = www.yahoo.com

When I load the page the link shows up as www.sitename.com/www.yahoo.com

How do I prevent www.sitename.com/ from loading before the actual link?

For external links use an absolute uri, e.g. http://www.example.com. Otherwise the base absolute uri is prepended; that's what's happening to your links.
