Error 403 - Forbidden

I just downloaded phpbb3 and everything went smoothly. Im logged onto the ACP index, but when I type in my URL (www.hmcclan.com) I get this error:

Error 403 - Forbidden

You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

you would probably get better help from phpbb's own support forum.

This is an Apache error most likely related to your .htaccess file if the site loaded before the install. If it never worked, check into your httpd.conf configuration for the domain. Namely the All/Deny clauses on the Directory

Its all pretty much new, just downloaded phpbb3 onto few hours ago. So would it probably be .htaccess?

(I thought maybe you couldn't find the forum :o )

perhaps the permissions on your home directory have been changed - can you ftp in and change them back?
