[RESOLVED] PHP Errors / IIS 7

Sorry if this is recurring, I've looked around but haven't found a specific situation or answer.

I just setup a new server with PHP (ISAPI) on IIS 7 with Server 2008 Standard Edition. Everything is configured just as I always have for Server 2003 / IIS 6, but everytime there is a problem with a script, I get Error 500. Easy enough, but when I check my PHP error log file, nothing is there. If I run the script at the command line, I can get the error to print.

Has anyone else had this issue / know the fix? I've gone through everything and I'm lost. IIS 7 is only running PHP, nothing else. Currently I only have one site running, but I'd love to move the rest over to the new hardware. Thanks!

Hi Tobin,

 I did find my problem and resolution, thanks. Basically (and this is not described in any detail whatsoever in and PHP / IIS7 setup guides - though will be soon on my blog) I had granted the IUSR_SERVERNAME account permissions to the PHP folder, however I actually needed to grant the IUSR account those permissions, as that is now the default account running IIS7 anonymous services.

I came across this after some searching through IIS blogs and Microsoft whitepapers, but the it was a little compounded since both of these users don't appear in the Local Users MMC.
