is used to 'get' info to give results to a statement like this

I would like to get more info from another query. Can someone show me the correct way to write another. or add to the current one so that I may get results from another query at the same time.....perhaps an AND statement is needed?

You can use the mysql_fetch_object directly:

Thanks for your assistance.

In one query, Report1, I have info like, report_user_name, report_user_address, report_user_country.

but in another query, Report2, I have other info like, info_user_AIM, info_user_email, info_user_email2.

On one page, I am trying to display the info from ALL of the above. Pulling info from both queries at the same time and displaying it on one page.

Then after, it is placed on the page....

<td width="20%" align="left"><b><font size="2" font color ="#000000" font face="arial">Name</font></b></td>

I have the sql stuff for in between these....I'm just trying to get the key point to pull from two different queries at the same time so I may place all the info I want.

You can insert these two queries into one, if you have a relation (primary key and foreign key between the two tables)

SELECT table1.field1, table2.field1 FROM table1, table2 WHERE table1.primary_ID=table2.foreignKey

Or you can see an INNER join version with images:

I'm sorry...maybe I didn't use the right terminology

Report1 is a table........in the table is:

user_name
user_address
user_country

Report2 is another table....in the table is:

info_user_AIM
info_user_email
info_user_email2

This statement pulls from Report1 table...

As djjjozsi says, you should be selecting both sets of data in a single query: which record in the Report1 table goes with which record in the Report2 table? If there's no answer to that then the design of your database is broken (because it doesn't contain information you need).

Incidentally, your HTML is also broken and obsolete. Twenty-first Century standards would have it looking like:

 <td style="text-align:center; font-size:medium; color:black; font-family:arial;">stuff</td>

Followed by a bit of CSS design to leave it looking like

<td>stuff</td>

Thanks for your response on the html, but it is not broken and is working fine and displays exactly what I want.

The issue I'm trying to resolve is quite simple for someone who deals with php everyday....problem is I don't.

Everything now works fine with the report1 query. What I want to do is to be able to pull more info from another query (table) at the same time (report2) and apply it to my info page. I understand what you mean by I should be pulling from the one query, which in fact is true, I am, but I also have more info in another query that I also want to pull and display on the same info page. That's why I was wondering if I can get a statement that will pull from query 1 and query 2 at the same time.

please give the table names for both tables you want to query, the fields you want from each table and any relationship(s) between them (fields that match, id's) and we can help you ALOT better... a join statement is what you will probably ended up wanting todo... if you want todo it right

I've already supplied this information above, however I will spend some time and try to give you more of what I have....I can't seem to explain it any better...I've given the codes, I've given the tables, I've given whats in them.

Give me a day and I will try to provide you with more scripting.

Since you haven't explained what rule, if any, you have to say which record in Report2 is paired with each record in Report1, the only sensible way of interpreting what you mean by "more info in another query that I also want to pull and display on the same info page" is:

Do query for report 1.
List report 1's results.
Do query for report 2.
List report 2's results.

So that the stuff from Report2 appears after the stuff from Report1.

You certainly can; obviously the results of Query 1 have to be stored separately from the results of Query 2 or they'll overwrite each other.

Which says that for every single record that results from query 1 you want to go through repeat the entire set of records that results from query 2. And you're trying to use the same variable to store both Report 1's results and Report 2's results (why you feel compelled to use an object property like $Report1->a for a loop index is another matter).

If you want to list report 1's results then list report 2's results then you're not trying to list both at the same time, and you shouldn't start listing the second report until you've finished listing the first one.

}
while($Report1->a = mysql_fetch_array($Report2->query)) {
....
}

Again, why you feel compelled to use $Report1->a (or $Report2->a for that matter) when a plain $a or $b (or, better, $record) would do the job is another matter.
