send uploaded file as attachment same time

Hi All,
I am now uploading files (pdf, image etc...) in my web server as back up & then email to clients through outlook manually.

But I need a tutorial so that, after uploading the file, the mail function will send that file autometically as attachmennr to desired email addresses.

Have you tried googling? STFI!

I would recommend using PHPMailer to send mail from your PHP scripts. It lets you login to a mail account just like outlook would and it supports the sending of HTML, attachments, etc. It also has a lot of features which will make your scripts more secure against hack attempts.

Thanks fpr reply. Yes, I serched in google but found few tutorials & most of them are not clear to me. I also try in my local host but not working.

But, as you recomand for phpmailer, I did not use tis before & seeing that 3 types of phpmailer exists in the site - 1. phpmailer for php5/6 2. PHPMailer-FE (Form2Email) 3. » PHPMailer-ML.
So, first I need to know how to use & co ordinate phpmailer with my code. And 2ndly which 1 I've to use...

yes, I've read the docs, but I m getting an error something like this "mail function can't Instantiating".

So, Can you help me a littlebit more?

Try giving us the exact error. That would be helpful. And perhaps you could write a test script for it? Once we get it working, you can incorporate it into your existing code.
