[RESOLVED] clean up text that's beenconverted '\n'

How do you clean up this text to replace the \, and \n's with their proper characters?

Bldg R\, S\, Filling Stations\, Guard House - Started Bldg U. Lots of trees in the way on U.\nRocked Today!!!\nFilled 2 Jerry Cans of Diesel - Spout missing on one can. Other spout has been busted by someone. Was verrry messy to fill. Cans need 2 new spouts.\nDiesel for Boom Truck - $25.15\n

This data has to go into a cell if that matters..

I'm sure it is a decode function, but just can't find it!

just did a quick str_replace for both!

nl2br will replace the 'enter' characters into html br tags.
