what wonderful tasks this all pupose scripting language should cover!
sombody asked me to write a program using php for sending php via his web site. I have seen some national or international web sites who perform such a work and offer their services to customers instead of a fee, but what are the requirements to set up a stand alone sms sender using php and through a web site?

do we need any perticular hardware or software?

thanks. from the link above I could find that some hardware infrastructure is needed which is not affordable to everyone, so we can use the facilities that large companies offer and the rest of the operation that is programming, is what we have to do. is it?
