Need a reference to paging multiple articles

Hey there.

I'm building myself a website, a small database of useful guides for computer users. Since I'm not that good at PHP, I've decided to keep it as simple as possible.

But to the topic. I'm in search of a reference or walkthrough for some kind of script that divides a number of articles into max 10/page, and the "Page 1 2 3 4 ..." function.

Usually i tend to find every answer i need through google but I'm not sure how to explain this function in keywords.

If you do not understand what i meant, which i do not blame you for :p, look at the bottom of, say http://failblog.org/, and the press-a-number-to-skip-to-page"x". Thats what i need.

use the search at the top and search for 'pagination' - its been asked and answered sooooo many times.
