Table...

I want two rows of results.. this does not work but how can I do it?

select the first 20 record from the news table, and in the while cycle start a counter. If this counter is bigger then 10 add an html </tr><tr> tags to start a new (table)row.

Does not work because the tr code starts a new row...

I want news 1 then news 2
new row

Or better still news 1 new row news 2 news three

So table 1 being 1 and 2 being 2 results would show like this...
