[RESOLVED] No MSSQL?

Hi, I'm trying to install PHP/Apache/MSSQL on a new computer for our stock control system but the MSSQL add-on seems to have been removed from the PHP installer since the last time I used it. How do I get it back? 😕

I'm not sure what you mean by 'php installer'. There are a dozen ways you can install PHP on a given machine. You may want to check the PHP Documentation on Microsoft SQL Server Installation.

You might also want to download the .zip version of PHP from php.net - the 'ext' directory in that .zip archive contains a variety of extensions for sure; I've never used the MSI installer so I don't know for sure what it does or does not contain.

I'm refernig to "PHP 5.2.9 installer" under Windows in the download section of the PHP site.

I've installed in a number of times with the installed in the past but MSSQL is missing in this edition, I'll try the zip archive as you suggested and I'll post again laster to let you know if this worked.

Did you check you PHP.ini file??is the extention is correctly installed?

Okay, I'm back, I got held up fixing a phone system so couldn't work on this until today but now it'd working. The problem was that PHP have removed the MSSQL extention from the Windows installer package so as bradgrafelman suggested, I tried the ZIP package instead which worked. Thanks.
